Meet the Founders

Basecamp Beeston was founded by Jennifer Beeston and Aimee Selix, who share a belief that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. While their paths and experiences are different, both are passionate about creating connection, expanding opportunities through education, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Together, they created Basecamp Beeston to turn small acts of kindness into meaningful opportunities for connection, encouragement, and impact. What began with Comfort Critters has grown into a broader vision focused on creating meaningful impact through programs, partnerships, and shared experiences.

Jennifer Beeston

Jennifer Beeston is an educator, author, and nationally recognized mortgage professional who has dedicated her career to helping people navigate complex topics with confidence. Through her work, she has empowered thousands through education and believes knowledge can be one of the most powerful tools for creating positive change.

Aimee Selix

Aimee Selix is a military child, military spouse, and community builder passionate about bringing people together. Drawing from a lifetime of experiences within the military community, she believes meaningful relationships, connection, and small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference during life's most challenging seasons.
